Energy Performance Certificates

Energy Performance Certificates have been introduced to advise potential buyers and leaseholders of the energy performance of a building they may wish to occupy. This can provide them with important information about the building such as; the energy efficiency, potential energy bills and possible improvements that could be made. Comparing the EPC’s of potential buildings will prove a valuable asset.
EPC's are required for Commercial Properties in England and Wales when they are new build, sold or leased.

An Energy Performance Certificate must be provided by the seller or prospective landlord to any prospective buyers or tenants.

If you have a property due to be constructed see our Part L page.

These Commercial Properties include:

  • Retail Units

  • Shops

  • Industrial Units

  • Commercial Property

  • Hotels

  • Rental Property

Commercial and Industrial buildings will require an inspection by an approved Commercial Energy Assessor to calculate the energy ratings of the property. Here at CEA.com were have experienced engineers within the construction industry and we can provide you with a level of service that is honest, reliable and cost effective.
